The Three Mountains MTB Ultra

This is a new race for Bansko and one we hope will well and truly put Bansko on the map. It is the longest one day event in Bulgaria.

This was an idea that I have been thinking of for sometime and am so excited to be seeing it come to fruition. I am really looking forward to seeing it happen.

Entry Fee.   40 Leva per rider. 

Registration. Online  +  Registration & Check in evening 28.09.12 at Baryakova with Pasta evening.      Payment on registration 28.09.12.

There will be an office (by the start line) that will be open for last minute registration between 5.30 and 6.30 am. On the morning of the 29.09.12.

N.B. The Road to Nowhere is a rally for people to enjoy themselves and ride for FUN, the categories are just for riders to be able to compare themselves to people of a similar standard. There will be prizes for all the categories. For serious racers there will be a longer course and separate prizes:

1.  Under 21            

2.  21-45

3.  Over 45

4.  Ladies

5.  Racers     (The Racers course will be an extra lap of Foxy lady so a total of 54km).

For the Racers there will be a trophy and medal for first place and medals for second and third place. The winner will get his name engraved on the trophy and will be able to keep the trophy for a year, at the end of the year they will be asked to return the trophy. If someone wins the race for four years running they can keep the trophy for ever. 

Entry fee:-

30lv entry includes entry number for two days racing, a professional cycle jersey, insurance, drinks on the course.

15lv entry includes entry number for two days racing,  insurance, drinks on the course.

  • 05.04.11  The winter ski season in Bansko is now closed and we are all geared up for yet another great summer of riding. Was out on Tuesday evening with friends and we done a great 33km trail that took in 2 villages, 4 lakes and some great forest track.
 
  • Hi all, out this morning with Hazool and Wozzer, we rode the comp track away from Devonshire Lodge at 7.15 temp ok about 14dec c.Very hard work on the up hills but good fun on the down's,  stop along the way to do some trail marking. Back in the square after about 3 and a bit hour's.      Well done Hazool and wozzer..
